The Gallery Brûlée, 6 rue Brûlée in Strasbourg, hosted a personal exposition based on the western theme and more particularly on Jessie James’story. At the same time, the gallery hosted the sculptures of Margit Denz, an Austrian artist.
The legend says that Jessie James stole rich people and gave his haul to poor people, bringing a Christian aura to the character given that one of his sidekicks betrayed him. "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford", Andrew Dominik’s movie, offers a reversed version of the myth: Brad Pitt plays a disturbing, violent and paranoiac Jessie James. Casey Affleck plays the role of Judas with much humanity and proves to be more pleasant than the alleged Christ of the legend.
